Tom Schneider joined JF Real Estate in January 2023, after a 34-year career in banking. Tom ended his banking career in September 2022, spending the last 22 years as President and CEO of Pathfinder Bank, a community bank headquartered in Oswego, NY conducting business throughout Central New York, the Mohawk Valley, the North Country, Finger Lakes, and southern Tier of New York.
Tom graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Cortland in 1983, and Masters Degree from Fairfield University in 2004. Tom also served as an Adjunct Professor at the State University of New York College at Oswego from 2008 until 2020.
Tom has been involved in numerous Not for Profit organizations and associations. Including: Chair of the New York Bankers Association, Vice-chair of CenterState CEO, and Treasurer of the Shineman Foundation, among others. Tom currently serves as a Board Member for the Oswego Port Authority, WCNY, and the MOST Foundation.
Tom’s extensive banking experience includes the financing of over $100 million dollars toward commercial real estate projects and developments. Tom believes his background will enable him to bring added value to the JF Real Estate Team, and its clients.
