It’s official!  DGX is Dollar General’s exciting new store concept, coming to downtown Syracuse. Their search for a 6,000 SF space in a densely populated city center landed them at the former Rite Aid building, represented by JF Real Estate. DGX’s goal is to reach millennials and urban shoppers with a merchandise mix geared toward instant consumption, a beverage bar, coffee station, and grab-and-go sandwiches. They describe themselves as “a tidy mashup of a drugstore, convenience store and corner grocer, but with lower prices.”
